Unlimited time off

During the game against Hesdy Gerges at the It’s Showtime gala in the Amsterdam ArenA I have made for the second time the same mistake in my career.
Because of this I have lost the match that I had wanted to win. An action by which I not only disappointed myself but also the audience.

I have thought it over and decided that it is better for me to go away from it for an indefinite period of time.
I do not want to attach a time for this period because I want to find back myself and set everything straight.
A sanction does not have to be imposed by an organization because hereby I am punishing myself.

I want to apologize to Hesdy Gerges and the audience of the Amsterdam ArenA for this default.

I hope after I have found myself, people can again enjoy our sport.
